Administrative Assistant - Advancement

About the Role:  

 

Are you a friendly and organized collaborator and project manager? Do you enjoy working with a dedicated group of professionals? As the Advancement Administrative Assistant, you’ll be supporting the offices of Alumni & Parent Relations, Annual Fund, Development, and Donor Relations. You will work closely with divisional leadership to provide administrative, customer service, and project management support for the Advancement Division.         

 

You will have the opportunity to maintain a flexible and successful hybrid office/home working schedule, working remotely one day a week, as you work alongside the rest of the Advancement staff.


 

What You’ll Do:  

 

  • Provide program, operations support, and customer service for the offices of Alumni & Parent Relations, Annual Fund, Development, and Donor Relations

  • Work as part of a team to provide administrative support to the Advancement Division Directors and other staff members, including the 50th Reunion Volunteer Committees

  • Coordinate and maintain budgets for the offices of the Advancement Division

  • Provide project management system training to colleagues as needed

  • Train and supervise office student worker(s)

  • Contribute to the overall success of the Advancement Division through teamwork and collaboration 

 

Who You Are:

 

The qualified candidate will have…

 

  • A high school degree or equivalent; 1+ years of relative office or administrative experience.

 

It will be helpful if you have…

 

  • Bachelor’s degree, 3+ years of relevant office or administrative experience; customer service experience; previous experience with, or an understanding of higher education and/or philanthropy.
