Game Day Site Coordinator

About the Role:  

 

Do you love sports? Miss being on the team, competing, and the thrill of victory? Then this position is for you. 

 

Join the St. Olaf Athletic Department and become a Game Day Site Coordinator for our home athletic events where you create a positive game day experience for players, officials, and fans. Great part-time work for evenings and weekends.

 

What You’ll Do:  

  • Assist with set up and tear down before home events.
  • Ensure the broadcast teams have everything they need.
  • Manage a few student workers during the event.
  • Greet visiting teams and fans and escort them to the venue.
  • Crowd control when needed.
  • Ensure fans, workers, and athletes have a safe and positive experience.

What you need:

 

High school diploma or equivalent with at least 1 year of experience in site management, collegiate athletics or customer service.

 

What skills you should bring:

  • Self-motivated
  • Problem solver
  • Take charge person
  • The ability to confront problems, and remove or de-escalate them calmly
  • Must be able to lift 30 pounds
