Office and Testing Accommodation Specialist
Center for Advising and Academic Support

About the Role: 

 

Help us create a welcoming and supportive environment for all St. Olaf students seeking academic support and advising. Your job will be to supervise student office assistants, manage alternative testing accommodations, and keep our office organized. We are searching for a candidate who will make students feel welcome and valued in our space. This position is an excellent opportunity to give every St. Olaf student the accommodations and support they need to succeed.

 

What You’ll Do: 

 

  • Provide administrative support to the staff of the Center for Advising and Academic Support (CAAS) through general, logistical, and technical support including website and software maintenance
  • Manage alternative testing and note-taking accommodations for students with disabilities
  • Manage customer service, budget reconciliation, and CAAS events
  • Hire, train, and supervise student office assistants/receptionists

High school diploma or equivalent, 3+ years of relevant office or administrative experience, and strong computer skills

 

A helpful background includes…

 

Bachelor’s degree; previous experience providing academic support or advising; experience supervising student employees; experience managing website and software applications
