Head Women’s Track & Field Coach/Assistant Women’s Cross Country Coach

About the Role: 

 

Do you want to work in some of the country’s premier track & field facilities?  Are you interested in serving as head coach for a talented and dedicated group of women student-athletes?  The St. Olaf College Head Women’s Track & Field Coach is one of the premier NCAA Division III head coaching jobs in the country.  The Head Coach  will provide servant leadership to women’s track & field student athletes to enhance their student athlete experience.  The right person will build meaningful, lasting relationships with the athletes through a positive culture and create an equitable environment that enriches each student athlete’s life.

 

 

What You’ll Do: 

 

  • Identify, cultivate and enroll quality women’s track & field student athletes who can achieve success at St. Olaf academically, socially and athletically
  • Shape the culture of the Women’s Track & Field team
  • Direct all strategy of the Women’s Track & Field program
  • Serve as the face of the Women’s Track & Field program
  • Serve as an assistant to the Women’s Cross Country program who are the reigning MIAC Champions and finished 13th at the NCAA Championship.

What you need:

 

  • Bachelor’s Degree; maintain a valid driver’s license and meet St. Olaf College driver authorization criteria with a satisfactory driving record.
  • 3+ years of experience coaching track & field at the high school, collegiate or professional level; advanced knowledge of track & field.

 

Preferred qualifications also include:

 

  • Master’s Degree preferred.
  • Head Coaching experience preferred
  • Experience with the college admissions process
