Office Manager - Advancement Division

About the Role: 

 

Are you a leader, team builder, collaborator, and project manager? Do you enjoy training and developing others’ professional skills and abilities? As the Office Manager, you’ll be supporting the Vice President for Advancement and managing an administrative professional who provides support across offices. You will work closely with divisional leadership to provide oversight, structure, and project management for the offices of the Vice President, Alumni, Annual Fund, Development, and Donor Relations. 

 

 

What You’ll Do: 

 

  • Supervise to-be-hired Administrative Assistant
  • Provide support to the Vice President and Assistant Vice President for travel, meeting management, and coordination with the President’s Office for meetings with donors
  • Provide support and oversight for two Coordinators in the division to help manage workflow and ensure divisional operations and projects are completed in a timely and accurate fashion
  • Implement policies, procedures and standards for operations and project management
  • Stay organized and sustain a proactive and collaborative approach to innovating and problem solving
  • Build and maintain positive partnerships with faculty and staff across campus
  • Maintain a flexible and successful hybrid office/home working schedule alongside the rest of the Advancement staff

 

Who You Are:

 

The qualified candidate will have…
 

  • A college degree or equivalent work experience
  • 3+ years of administrative experience

 

It will be helpful if you have…
 

  • Experience in a private residential liberal arts college setting
  • Supervisory experience
  • Experience using Asana or other project management tools to keep projects on track
