About the Role:

We are searching for a candidate who is a clear communicator, highly personable, and extremely organized and able to discern issues and resolve them quickly. As the Coordinator for Catalog and Curriculum in the Registrar’s Office, you will have the opportunity to work with a range of constituents from faculty to students, while also being able to utilize your strong detail and organizational skills!

 

What You’ll Do: 

 

  • Oversee maintenance of the college catalog and assist with course and program approval process
  • Serve as a resource for the subcommittees of the Curriculum Committee
  • Serve as the representative of the Registrar’s Office to the New Proposals Subcommittee
  • Assist students wishing to fulfill the Foreign Language general education requirement or World Languages and Culture OLE Core requirement through a means other than completing the terminal course at St. Olaf
  • Hire, train and supervise office student workers

 

Who You Are:

 

The qualified candidate will have…

 

Education:  Associate’s degree or equivalent work experience

 

Experience:  2+ years of relevant administrative experience; customer service experience

 

It will be helpful if you also have…

 

Education:  Bachelor’s degree

 

Experience:  Background in higher education; experience working with CourseLeaf or another catalog software; experience working on committees

You work productively as an individual and collaborate well with a diverse range of people, and are able to establish and maintain a good rapport with students, faculty, and staff. You are flexible, detail-oriented, and analytical. You have the ability to manage many different projects at once, balance and prioritize with ease, and supervise students.
